COUNTY TRIALS

The new season gets underway on Sunday with the County Squad Trials taking place at Carnmoggas Indoor Bowling Club near St Austell with play starting at 0900.

Under new team manager Nigel Nicholls 51 bowlers from 17 clubs will be seeking the 40 places available in the County teams for the first match away to Devon on Sunday 22 September at ISCA Indoor Bowling Club in Exeter.

The full program matches for Cornwall in the group stages of the ESMBA Inter County Championship for this season is.

Sun 6 October v Somerset @ Carnmoggas Indoor Bowling Club, Little Polgooth

Sun 20 October v Dorset @ Dorset Bowls Resort, Bere Regis

Sat 30 November v Somerset @ Taunton Deane Indoor Bowling Club, Taunton

Sun 8 December v Devon @ Carnmoggas Indoor Bowling Club, Little Polgooth
