CORNWALL COUNTY SHORT MAT BOWLING ASSOCIATION

SUMMER LEAGUE
The CCSMBA Summer League is into the second half of the season and the divisional leaders are Nomads in the West and Blisland Blues in the East.

The competition provides opportunity for bowlers to play through the Summer with over 100 bowlers having already played one or more matches in the competition.

Fixtures continue until the first week of September after which the two divisional leaders will play off for the title.

League tables for both divisions can be accessed from the links below.

SHORT MAT PLAYERS TOUR
August see's the start of the Short Mat Players Tour season with the UK Open in Chelmsford over the Bank Holiday weekend.  

At the end of the last season Nigel Nicholls remained the top ranked of 14 Cornish bowlers on the SMPT Rankings List in fourth place and 826.63 points.  The remaining bowlers have the following point totals.

ESMBA OPEN COMPETITIONS
On Saturday 31st August the ESMBA Open Pairs will take place at Solihull Indoor Bowling Club with up to 64 teams playing.

2019/20 SEASON
The forthcoming 2019/20 season will be the 29th year that the CCSMBA has fostered the development of the game in Cornwall.  The CCSMBA welcomes any representative of the media to any of its events through the season, a full list can be found at https://ccsmba.co.uk/content.php?pg=calendar.
