INTER COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP
Cornwall commence their challenge in the group stages of the ESMBA Inter County Championship against Somerset at Huish Episcopi Academy, Langport on Sunday. Cornwall have again entered teams in both the Premier and A Team competitions and face Somerset, Devon & Dorset in the group stages.
In the South West group Dorset have already hosted Devon on the 15th September recording a 28-12 win in the Premier match and a 18-22 loss in the A match.
COUNTY MIXED FOURS
On Saturday 60 bowlers in 15 teams are entered in the County Mixed Fours to be played at Carnmoggas Indoor Bowling Club with play scheduled to get underway at 0900.
INTER AREA LEAGUE
On Sunday the first round of Inter Area League fixtures was played at Carnmoggas Indoor Bowling Club. Featuring 80 bowlers, 20 from each area, the competition is played over three match days following the Inter County Championship format. The scores of Sunday's matches were North 164 shots 17 points Central 203 shots 23 points and East 153 shots 17 points West 171 shots 23 points. The next round of fixtures will be played on the 1st December again at Carnmoggas.
