The Plate for Division One winners was contested by three teams after Western Division One winners Newlyn Trinity Wreckers were forced to withdraw due to being unable to raise a team

With only three teams a revised format ensured that all bowlers were able to play in each session.

In the first session East Taphouse A took a last end win against Truro A 8-7.  Boscastle A defeated East Taphouse B 10-9 and Boscastle B, playing one short, defeated Truro B 12-7.

The second session saw East Taphouse B win 12-6 against Truro B.  Truro A defeated Boscastle A 11-4 and East Taphouse A won 15-7 against Boscastle B.

With 6 points from a possible 8 East Taphouse, a new club to the East Area league this season took the inaugural League Plate title.
