INTER AREA LEAGUE
On Sunday the final round of Inter Area League matches were played at Carnmoggas Indoor Bowling Club.
The Central area were dominant 29 points to 11 win against the West. The East area defeated North 26 points to 14 to claim the Inter Area title for this season with 74 points, Central finished 2nd with 67, North 3rd with 57 and West 4th on 44.
AREA LEAGUES

SWEDISH MASTERS
Three local bowlers recently traveled to Sweden t compete in the Short Mat Players Tour Swedish Masters.
Elise Daniell won one game and drew one finishing in 5th place in Group 15 qualifying for the Wooden Spoon section of the knockout stages where in the last 32 she defeated Swede Rita Haga 16-2 in the last 32. Her tournament came to a close in the last 16 with a close 12-13 defeat to Norwegian Rune Klovtveit.
Nigel Nicholls and Peter Hore were drawn in the same group with Nigel winning three games and Peter four. Nigel qualified for the Plate competition where he faced Dorset's Robert Martin in the last 32 losing 6-9. Peter qualified for the Main competition where he faced eventual winner Cecil Dillon losing 5-13.
