INTER COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP
On Sunday the final group games of the South West group were played with Devon defeating Somerset 21-19 in the Premier Team match and Somerset winning the A Team match 22-18. The results does not change Cornwall's position in the final Premier Team table finishing bottom. The close nature of the A Team result between Somerset and Devon however means that Cornwall drop from first to third in the final table leaving both Cornwall teams facing a potentially costly run in the Consolation competitions which both teams won in 2012 and the A Team have won four times in the last seven years.
