Camelford Short Mat Bowls A team have won the North Cornwall League Bowling Shield nine times since the North Cornwall league was set up in 1991, and are champions again.Camelford Short Mat Bowling Club was started on October 1 1986 by S Goodman, R Roose, L Kent and Mr & Mrs Ganley. They have teams in the North Cornwall League and in 2007 have 29 members.The club meet in the Clease Hall at Camelford on Wednesday and Thursday evenings for practice sessions at 7pm.
