ESMBA Club Competition
The team of Peter Hore, Elise Daniell, Nigel Nicholls, Neil Gribble and Gillian Cawrse started there defence of the ESMBA Torquay Leisure Hotels Top Club title in Northampton on Sunday.
In the opening round of games they lost 2 points to 9 against a team from Cheshire but successive 9-0 whitewashes of teams from Surrey and Northamptonshire was enough to see the claim a place at the Torquay based championship next year.
