The first four teams won all their games to be on 10 points. The winners were Templecombe 2 (skipped by Jim Mannell) - (won 27 - of 35 ends and with a shot difference of +43); second were Holmans (skip - Peter Hore) from Camborne in Cornwall (23 ends and +38 shots); third were East Hanningfield - last year's winners - (skip - Steve Killington) - 22 ends and +30; fourth - Gloucester Knights (skip - Ryan Knght) with 19 ends and +26 shots.
The next six teams won 4 of their 5 games to be on 8 points. Crudwell, augmented by Newlyn Trinity's Nigel Nicholls were fifth with 26 ends won and +56 shots; sixth - Wootton Hall (skip - Tony Wheeler) - 23 ends and +35; seventh - Westbury Blue Circle (skip Dane Rose) - 23 ends and +27; eigth - Templecombe 1 (skip - Alan Berry) - 22 ends and +21; ninth - Middlezoy (skip - Linda Glover) - 23 ends and +17 and tenth - Hazelbury Bryam (Dorset - skip Barry Whitburn - 22 ends and +14.
Westbury Blue Circle became the first team to win the highest placed all Wiltshire team prize. The Crudwell team had a hot shot during the day.
The aim of the day besides having an enjoyable bowling day was to raise money for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance. After a preliminary balance , it would seem that the sum of £1250 was raised.
