Future of Short Mat Bowls in Cornwall

The CCSMBA Management Committee has issued a statement to its member clubs regarding the ongoing position of a number of committee vacancies.  There are currently five out of fifteen committee positions vacant and despite repeated advertising of the posts, the current committee members continue to cover the roles, this is not a sustainable long term position for the association.

In a statement to members the committee have stated "There is a real risk that the association will have to significantly scale back it's activities.  There could be a risk of no County League, no County Competitions and no National Competitions."

The current vacancies are Vice Chairman, County Team Manager, Social Secretary, East Area Representative, County Safeguarding Officer.
