View this email in your browser Cornwall County Short Mat Bowling Association News Release - 4 February 2018 ESMBA Inter County Championships Cornwall's opponents in the Quarter Finals of the ESMBA Inter County Championship on 18th February will be Essex after they defeated Herefordshire 31-9 in the Preliminary round on Sunday,  Dorset are also through to the Quarter Finals after a 22-18 win against North Yorkshire.   Short Mat Players Tour English Masters This weekend the Short Mat Players Tour English Masters will be played at the Falcon Bowling & Social Club, Chelmsford with a number of local bowlers entered.  With two ranking tournaments left this season Newlyn's Nigel Nicholls, winner of last months British Open, will be looking for another strong performance to retain top spot in the Order of Merit and a place in August's World Cup. Joining Nigel in the event will be Peter Hore (Holmans), Elise Daniell (Holmans), Callum Beale (Withiel), Glynn Roy (Withiel), Dennis Shorthouse (Landrake), Dianne Shorthouse (Landrake) & Karen Watson (Saltash).
